Back in Nepal!

Varun and Rob visited Nepal in February and March 2016. Now, Rob is back with Dr Christie and her son at the project area of Katunge village to map and further contribute to the development.

Rob is also visiting many schools in Katunge area, some of which might be hours apart on foot, to map education after the disaster.

While they were in Kathmandu, they also met officers and representatives from key organizations working in Nepal such as Red cross.

Christie, Rob, and Varun are currently working on a paper for the journal Himalayas about disaster governance.

Our project panel and volunteers from around the world regularly engage with and visit the project area in what can be called a very grassroots level participation with the local citizens.
